The 2021 Catchment Forum will explore key issues in catchment management bringing together water quality experts, health regulators and government to share the latest across the research in this area.

Some of the challenges being addressed include climate change, low and variable reservoir levels, conducting sanitary surveys and understanding health-based targets and understanding emerging contaminants in the catchment, such as pathogens, bryozoans and Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) in the environment. This year’s Catchment Forum will also cover recreational access to drinking water catchments as well an overview of the new WaterRA project to develop guidance on hydrodynamic modelling.

This year’s event will be delivered online.
